Our Company’s Story & Evolution – From the Founders

We started Genwyn.com as a wellness products company, to create natural products like calming essential oil perfume blends to improve well-being and focus. The ancient vetiver grass scent along with lavender and frankincense improve relaxation. When we feel stress, our body releases cortisol, which can put us in a fight or flight panic mode. Scents have been used for centuries to help people calm down and invoke the parasympathetic, calming nervous system.

We also developed pain salves with the Arnica montana flower, peppermint and menthol to address muscle ache from injury and vigorous use. We were also concerned that anything applied topically to our skin gets absorbed into the bloodstream. Many traditional lotions have preservatives and harsh chemicals whose long term effects are not known. We use natural shea butter and organic jojoba and almond base oils, to use as natural bases, along with Vitamin E oil as a natural preservative. We create natural, healing products following the motto, “From outer calm to inner calm, healing in step with Nature.”
